Job Description Insight Global is looking a dedicated and experienced Colorectal Surgical Medical Coder to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding colorectal surgical procedures and diagnoses using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and surgical procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers and ensure accurate coding and billing. Skills and Requirements Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in general surgical coding, with a focus on colorectal procedures (professional fee based). Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Experience in oncology coding. Additional certifications such as Certified General Surgery Coder (CGSC) or Certified Gastroenterology Coder (CGIC).
