About the OpportunityThe selected candidate will join an established practice currently composed of two highly experienced colorectal surgeons, with clinical activity at:
Sinai Hospital of Baltimore Northwest Hospital SurgiCenter of Baltimore Ellicott City Surgery CenterOutpatient offices are located at Sinai Hospital, Columbia/Ellicott City, and Eldersburg, MD.
This full-time position includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on advanced laparoscopic and robotic colorectal procedures. The practice is well-integrated with other surgical and medical subspecialties and is supported by a highly skilled team of nurse practitioners, residents, and allied health professionals.

Colorectal Call: Colorectal call is only for assigned and unassigned colorectal patients with resident and APP coverage for 1st call. Advanced Surgical Practice: Access to robotic and minimally invasive technology (with access to two DaVinci XI robots in all LBH ORs), collaborative OR infrastructure, and strong clinical referral networks. Collaborative & Supported Care Model: Partner with surgical hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and specialty-aligned colleagues in GI, oncology, and radiology. Program Growth & Innovation: Opportunity to contribute to program development, quality improvement, and academic scholarship. Teaching & Mentorship: Active involvement in our highly competitive ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency (24 residents, 5+1 format). Research: Opportunity to participate in resident affiliated and independent research. Academic Appointment: Affiliation with the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, with opportunity for faculty appointment. Collaborative Networks: Long-standing partnerships with Johns Hopkins and University of Maryland Shock Trauma, enhancing educational and clinical resources. Trauma Center Excellence: Sinai’s Level II Trauma Center is a leader in the region, reverified in 2023 with no citations.
