Color Quality & Consistency Specialist

Non-management position

Start date: as soon as possible.

Location: Panamá – candidates must reside in or be open to relocating to the county.

Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Color Science, or related field and 3+ years of experience in color management, prepress, or production design, ideally in packaging, branding, or consumer goods.

We are looking for a Color Specialist to join our creative production team. This is a specialist, hands-on role with no direct reports, ideal for someone passionate about achieving perfect color accuracy and consistency in every project. You will be the go-to expert for color management, working closely with Design, Graphic Production, and Printing teams to ensure our products and materials deliver exceptional visual impact while meeting brand and technical standards.

What You’ll Do

Color Management & Enhancement

Execute advanced color corrections and enhancements in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools, ensuring alignment with approved creative concepts.

Apply professional color grading, profiling, and calibration techniques for accurate and consistent results across print and digital outputs.

Color Consistency Across Media

Partner with Design, Graphic Production, and Printing teams to ensure accurate color matching to brand guidelines on diverse substrates (paper, plastic, labels, etc.).

Manage and maintain brand color standards for both digital and offset printing processes.

Prepress & Proofing

Prepare, review, and approve color proofs before production.

Work directly with printers to troubleshoot and guarantee precise reproduction during print runs.

Documentation & Standards

Build and update the company’s internal color library (swatches, specifications, and guidelines).

Define and improve protocols for consistent color application across all product formats.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Color Science, or related field.

3+ years of experience in color management, prepress, or production design, ideally in packaging, branding, or consumer goods.

Strong portfolio showing advanced color correction, proofing, and production-ready artwork.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and familiarity with RIP/color management software (GMG, Esko, EFI Fiery, etc.).

Knowledge of print production processes (offset, flexography, digital) and substrates.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Advanced English proficiency.
