Description We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team on a part-time, contract basis in Sunrise, Florida. This role requires working in the office 1-2 days per week, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and managing collection processes. Responsibilities: • Manage both commercial and consumer collection accounts to ensure timely payments. • Process billing collections and resolve any discrepancies efficiently. • Handle customer inquiries regarding outstanding balances with professionalism and clarity. • Utilize QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate financial records. • Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on overdue payments. • Collaborate with team members to improve collection processes and achieve financial goals. • Generate reports on collection activities and account statuses for management. • Maintain compliance with company policies and legal regulations during all collection activities. Requirements • Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections. • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. • Knowledge of billing collection processes and best practices. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively. • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping. • Familiarity with credit and collections procedures. • Availability to work in-office 1-2 days per week in Sunrise, Florida.
