Description We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in Dublin, Ohio. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing collections processes, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Responsibilities: • Manage commercial and consumer collections to ensure timely resolution of outstanding accounts. • Review and analyze aging reports to prioritize collection efforts and identify any discrepancies. • Process cash applications accurately to maintain up-to-date account records. • Coordinate with clients to resolve billing issues and secure payments. • Implement effective credit and collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts. • Maintain detailed documentation of collection activities and communications. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline collection processes and address account concerns. • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure payment commitments are honored. • Provide timely reporting and updates to management regarding collection progress and challenges. Requirements • Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections. • Strong understanding of credit and billing collection processes. • Proficiency in handling aging reports and cash application procedures. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to analyze data and identify trends for improving collection strategies. • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Experience with collection tools and software is preferred.
