Description Job Title: Collections Specialist Location: Central Oklahoma City, OK (100% ON-SITE) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $19/hour Job Type: Temporary with Strong Potential for Temp-to-Hire Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist for a full-time, on-site position in Central OKC. This role is a temporary assignment with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent hire, based on performance and business need. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in collections and be confident in managing account balances, conducting follow-up, and resolving discrepancies professionally and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: + Perform outbound collection calls on past-due accounts + Conduct thorough research to resolve outstanding balances and billing issues + Process account adjustments and maintain accurate documentation + Communicate professionally with customers to negotiate payment plans + Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account disputes + Maintain records of collection activities in accordance with company policies Requirements Requirements: + Previous experience in a dedicated collections role is required + Strong communication and negotiation skills + Ability to analyze account histories and conduct payment research + Proficiency in basic computer systems and data entry + High attention to detail and excellent follow-through + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
