Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Marietta, Georgia. In this long-term contract position, you will focus on business-to-business collections, ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding balances while maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Manage business-to-business collections processes, focusing on recovering outstanding balances, including accounts that are over 120 days past due. • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, follow-ups, and outcomes within the appropriate systems. • Liaise with customers and internal teams to identify and resolve issues that impact collections. • Utilize Sage Intacct software to effectively manage collections workflows. • Perform basic data filtering and organization tasks using Excel to support collection efforts. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate resolution of overdue accounts. • Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional tasks as needed. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the collections process. • Collaborate with team members to support the centralization of accounting and finance operations. Requirements • Previous experience in business-to-business collections is preferred. • Proficiency in Sage Intacct accounting software is a plus. • Basic knowledge of Excel, including filtering and organizing data. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with clients. • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in resolving complex account issues. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to evolving processes. • Commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
