Description We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our clients team in Dublin, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payments within a healthcare-focused portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in collection processes and billing systems, along with strong organizational and analytical skills. Responsibilities: • Oversee a portfolio of approximately 500 accounts, ensuring payments are collected in a timely manner. • Communicate professionally with healthcare providers, such as doctors' offices, to resolve billing and payment inquiries. • Monitor account statuses and identify overdue invoices, implementing effective collection strategies. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and account reconciliation. • Analyze payment patterns and recommend adjustments to credit terms when necessary. • Maintain detailed records of collection activities and client communications. • Utilize SAP and other billing systems to track payments and manage account information efficiently. • Prepare regular reports on account statuses and collections progress. • Identify and escalate complex cases that require additional support or legal intervention. • Provide exceptional customer service to maintain positive relationships with clients while ensuring compliance with collection policies. Requirements • Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections, preferably within the healthcare industry. • Strong knowledge of credit and collection processes, including billing and reconciliation. • Proficiency in SAP or similar billing software systems. • Advanced Excel skills for tracking and reporting financial data. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle complex payment issues. • Ability to manage a high-volume portfolio with attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong analytical skills to assess payment trends and recommend credit adjustments. • Commitment to maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction in all interactions.
