Description Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to manage and recover overdue receivables for both insured and uninsured transactions. This role focuses on executing effective collection strategies, maintaining client relationships, and optimizing the collections process to reduce cycle times and improve results. Key Responsibilities: Manage the recovery of funds on overdue receivables, including insured credit transactions, bonds, and uninsured debts. Communicate directly with debtors to collect outstanding balances and coordinate with third-party agencies, legal representatives, and insolvency professionals as needed. Handle a portfolio of cases valued at EUR 10,000 or less, ensuring timely follow-up and adherence to internal procedures. Prioritize follow-up communications to ensure payment commitments are fulfilled and escalate appropriately when necessary. Continuously evaluate and improve collection tactics to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-collection, and control operating costs. Maintain and manage day-to-day relationships with clients, debtors, and external parties, including negotiation on next steps or legal action where appropriate. Assess legal escalation viability and prepare case files for referral to internal or external legal resources. Respond promptly to routine customer inquiries related to accounts and payment status. Requirements Ideal Candidate Will Have: Proven experience in collections or receivables management. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to manage a high volume of cases while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with credit insurance or debt recovery processes is a plus.
