Description We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team near Teaneck, New Jersey. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in managing accounts receivable and collection processes within a dynamic environment. The role requires a proactive individual who can effectively handle past-due accounts and ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely follow-up on past-due balances. • Conduct collection activities, including reaching out to clients via phone and email to resolve outstanding payments. • Utilize accounting software systems and CRM platforms to track and manage payment statuses. • Respond to inbound inquiries and address billing-related questions in a detail-oriented manner. • Administer claims and ensure proper documentation for collection purposes. • Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. • Prepare regular reports on collection activities and account statuses. • Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant regulations during collection processes. • Handle Epic software for efficient tracking and management of accounts receivable. • Proactively identify opportunities to improve collection strategies and minimize past-due accounts. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections processes. • Proficiency in accounting software systems and CRM platforms. • Familiarity with tools such as Accurint and Epic software. • Strong ability to manage billing functions and resolve claims effectively. • Excellent communication skills for handling inbound calls and client interactions. • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prepare accurate reports. • Knowledge of financial services systems such as ADP. • Ability to work on-site five days a week in Bergen County, NJ.
