Description Robert Half is looking for an experienced B2B Collections Specialist to join one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in commercial collections to manage business-to-business accounts and ensure timely payments. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B Collections and excel at credit analysis. This position is contract to hire and is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment! Responsibilities: • Manage business-to-business collections, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding accounts. • Analyze credit data to assess risk and recommend appropriate collection strategies. • Collaborate with billing teams to address discrepancies and facilitate accurate invoicing. • Maintain detailed records of collection activities and payment agreements. • Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues and negotiate terms when necessary. • Monitor aging accounts and prepare regular reports on collection performance. • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency in the collection process. • Identify and escalate critical accounts requiring advanced intervention. • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations during all collection activities. Requirements • Proven experience in commercial collections or a similar role. • Strong understanding of credit analysis and billing processes. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively. • Proficiency in collection management software and tools. • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing collections. • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients.
