Collections Specialist
Job Description
Position Overview:

The Collections Specialist will be responsible for contacting customers regarding outstanding invoices, negotiating payment arrangements, resolving billing disputes, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a customer-centric approach to collections.


Key Responsibilities:Monitor accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.Contact customers via phone, email, and mail regarding past due invoices.Negotiate payment plans in alignment with company policies.Research and resolve customer inquiries and disputes in a timely manner.Maintain accurate and detailed records of collection activities.Collaborate with internal departments such as sales and billing to reconcile account discrepancies.Prepare regular reports on collection status and outstanding balances for management review.


Work Experience
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer service.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
