Collections Representative
ResponsibilitiesPerform collection duties for accounts receivable within your assigned area.Complete and document daily collection calls, identifying high-risk accounts and placing them in suspension as per department guidelines.Handle timely dispute resolution and negotiate payouts in accordance with department standards.Identify, document, and distribute disputes to the appropriate departments, and conduct conferences with sales or customers to resolve disputed items.Conduct monthly meetings with branch and company management to communicate the collection status of balances on assigned accounts.Prepare preliminary lien notices and bond claims compliant with state statutes to secure account receivable balances; file and record actual lien filings according to state statutes.Review open accounts receivable by project and sign legal documents waiving security rights when applicable.Maintain accurate records of collection activities and prepare performance reports as needed.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance collection efficiency and effectiveness.Analyze collection data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years of collection experience Experience with lien releases and bonds a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office.Additional Skills & QualificationsSAP experience is a plus.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to excellent customer service.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.44/hr.
