What the day will look like
+ Develop and implement collection strategies tailored to the Asian market to maximize recovery rates and minimize bad debt.
+ Lead and manage a team of collection specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
+ Monitor and analyze collection metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
+ Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to debt collection.
+ Collaborate with finance and customer service teams to resolve complex collection issues.
+ Prepare regular reports on collection activities and performance for senior management.
+ Foster strong relationships with clients, insurers and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and negotiation.
+ Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in collection management.

The Collections Hub Leader for Asia will be responsible for overseeing and managing the collection operations across the Asian region. The Collection Leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize collection strategies and improve cash flow.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ At least 7-10 years of experience in credit and collections management, with a significant portion of that time spent in a leadership or managerial role.
+ Proven experience Accounts Receivable and collection management, preferably within the Asian market.
+ Regional Experience: Experience working within the Asian market is highly desirable, as it provides familiarity with regional business practices and cultural nuances.
+ Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to manage employees in various locations across Asia.
+ Integration and Reporting: Experience in integrating collection processes with ERP systems and generating reports to analyze collection performance.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Strong communication and negotiation skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
