(Hybrid)Start Date: 09/08/2025The DFC Collections Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing quality customer experience while working to collect and negotiate terms of repayment on delinquent accounts 1-60 days past due.
Responsibilities
Make outbound collection attempts by phone, mail, and e-mail to resolve delinquent accounts in an ethically responsible manner by mitigating losses and maximizing receivable incomeProcess, follow up, and resolve inbound collection and customer service telephone inquiriesReview accounts for action such as extensions, deferments, and due date changes within authorized limits to promote customer performance of contractual obligationsDemonstrate professionalism, discretion, and good judgment in all interactions with co-workers and customers to ensure timely resolution of customer discrepancies and disputesFollow up on required customer insurance coverage and institute corrective action when deficient coverage is discoveredMeet or exceed established call volume and account action requirementsOther duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications
Basic knowledge of installment loans, consumer collections, and collections regulations & lawsPrevious collections experience preferredAbility to multitask by speaking with customers and typing information, avoid distractions, and be focused for scheduled shiftStrong attention to detailSense of urgencyExcellent communicationPC skills including knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Windows, etc.)Competencies
