Description We are looking for a skilled Collections & Billing Analyst to join our team in Centennial, Colorado. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing medical billing, claims, and collections processes with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee medical billing and claims processes with accuracy and attention to detail. • Handle collections and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution. • Utilize accounting software systems, including Sage Intacct, to process invoices and track financial data. • Generate and analyze aging reports to monitor outstanding balances and prioritize collection efforts. • Collaborate with the team to streamline billing functions and improve operational efficiency. • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations related to medical billing and collections. • Apply expertise in Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report financial data. • Communicate effectively with clients or stakeholders to address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies. • Ensure the integrity of financial transactions and documentation through thorough review and reconciliation. Requirements • Proven experience in medical billing, claims, and collections processes. • Proficiency in using accounting software systems such as Sage Intacct. • Strong understanding of accounts receivable practices and procedures. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting. • Ability to generate and interpret aging reports for effective collections management. • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to medical billing. • Effective communication skills for addressing billing inquiries and resolving issues.
