Description
•\tActively collect open AR balances by contacting customers, supports the activities of branch personnel to actively collect open AR balances.
•\tUpdate the Get Paid AR collection system including customer contact information, notes on status of open AR accounts, payment promises, customer disputes, escalation for inclusion in the AR Specific Reserve, repossession review, referral to Legal, write-off, etc.
•\tRespond to customer inquiries providing assistance or directing the customer’s issue to the appropriate person for speedy resolution.
•\tReconcile accounts and perform administrative tasks/additional duties as assigned
•\tEstablish acceptable payment arrangements, including settlements when warranted, while building a positive relationship with the customer
•\tCounsel customers to assist in finding funds to bring account current
•\tGenerate and respond to written correspondence (letters, e-mails, web chats, etc.) in a professional, compliant manner
•\tRespond to all inquiries, redirecting when necessary
•\tMaintain accurate documentation reflective of the conversation and subsequent arrangement reached with customer
•\tManage to collection objectives using a high degree of professionalism and persuasiveness
•\tMake recommendation for next steps when accounts becomes un-performing or unresponsive
•\tComplete skip tracing when contact with customer ceases
•\tWork effectively with salesperson, branch personnel and other team members in reaching resolution of account
•\tWork unapplied cash in search of payments
Additional Skills & Qualifications
•Experience with collecting on large accounts
•Must be comfortable being on phones and doing B2B collections
•Must be eager/excited to learn
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
