What you’ll own as the Collections Advisor

Recovering customer arrears via telephone, written communications and/or any other digital methods introduced into the department / functionActing as a first point of contact for customers with outstanding arrearsReinstating of Direct debits to adhere to our One Call Resolution aimShowing empathy to vulnerable customersNegotiating & setting up repayment arrangementsGeneral administration dutiesAdhering to the rules and guidelines as set out by the company and its regulators (FCA / ICO/ FLA)Adhere to KPI's set by the business

What you’ll bring

We would like to hear from you if you have experience working in Collections (Late or Early Arrears) as a Collections Agent, Collections Advisor, Credit Controller or similarStrong customer service & communication skills with the ability to empathise with peopleThe ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environmentExperienced working within a regulated organisation backgroundPolite telephone mannerStrong IT skills to navigate multiple platformsExperience of working with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook

It’s a bonus if you have

xperience working with corporate customersB2B collections experienceUnderstanding of Direct DebitsUnderstanding around the BACS rulesGood understanding of Complaint Resolution

About the team

Our Collections teams support our Global Business customers, managing accounts with a strong focus on cash collection and aged debt clearance.

Competitive salary plus up to £500 per month commission based bonus scheme
Working Pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9:30am – 4:30pm or 9:30am –5:00pm (shift dependant)
