Job Title: Collections Administrator

Job Description

The Collections Administrator will manage and maintain various reports, including those related to delinquency on risk-based loans, charge-offs, and repossessions. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth administrative operations and compliance with credit union requirements.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain miscellaneous reports such as those related to delinquency on risk-based loans, charge-offs, and repossessions.Assign and track repossessions effectively.Handle administrative duties, including managing collection agency and repossession invoices, filing, processing payments, and preparing files for record retention storage.File and monitor insurance claims diligently.Answer direct and indirect credit disputes promptly and accurately.Adhere to all credit union compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) guidelines and regulations.Perform other related duties as assigned by the Collections Manager.Essential SkillsExperience in collections customer service.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Ability to handle collections credit and customer service tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsBusiness to Consumer experience.Experience with bankruptcy collections or repossessions is preferred.Work Environment

The role requires working on-site for 5 days a week, from 9 AM to 5 PM. The position involves administrative tasks, paperwork, and working with PDFs in Adobe, rather than being heavily phone-based. Proficiency in Excel is crucial, and candidates will be tested on their Excel skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
