Description Collections Specialist – Full Time | Onsite | local to Bloomfield, CT Company Overview: Our client is a well-established construction company local to Bloomfield, CT, known for their commitment to quality and service. Position Overview: The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing collections from commercial accounts, posting payments, handling some billing functions, and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time onsite position. Key Responsibilities: + Manage the collection of outstanding accounts receivable from commercial clients + Post payments accurately and timely + Assist with billing tasks as needed + Respond to customer inquiries and resolve account discrepancies + Maintain accurate records and documentation of collection activities + Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve billing issues Requirements: + 4+ years of recent experience in an AR role handling collections (commercial collections preferred) + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel + Experience working with accounting software + Strong communication and problem-solving skills + High attention to detail and strong organizational skills + Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required Compensation & Benefits: + Salary: Up to $60,000 annually, depending on experience + Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, onsite + Benefits: Health insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO) Ready to Apply?
