Collection Specialist with Greek (maternity cover)

The Collection Specialist is responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable from clients. This role requires fluency in Greek to effectively communicate with Greek-speaking clients. The specialist will work closely with the finance team to ensure timely payments and resolve any issues related to overdue accounts.
**Your role:**
+ Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices
+ Client Communication: Communicate with Greek-speaking clients via phone, email, and other channels to follow up on overdue payments and resolve any billing issues
+ Payment Processing: Process incoming payments and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial records
+ Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or disputes related to invoices and payments
+ Reporting: Prepare regular reports on collection activities, outstanding accounts, and payment status for management review
+ Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all collection activities
+ Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, sales department, and other stakeholders to address any issues impacting collections
**You're the right fit if:**
+ Language Skills: Fluency in Greek, intermediate English or higher, both written and spoken
+ Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
+ Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to have:
+ Experience in the healthcare or technology industry
+ Knowledge of Philips products and services
+ Familiarity with Greek financial regulations and practices
+ Experience: experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably in a multinational company
+ Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
