Collection Manager-HIRING ASAP
Job Title: Collection ManagerJob Description The primary focus of this position is to supervise the branch/commercial collectors and assist in daily Q&A. Reporting to the Credit Manager, this role requires multitasking and working efficiently. The position encompasses a multitude of duties that vary from day to day. Responsibilities + Assist collectors with executing their key performance indicators and coach them to improve collection performance. + Drive adherence to the Collections Operating System for consistency in approach and escalation of difficult items. + Review, discuss, and plan the performance of collectors through key performance indicators and scorecards. + Responsible for hiring, monitoring, training, coaching, evaluating, and disciplining the collections team as required. + Ensure account assignment is completed and thoroughly worked. + Assist customers directly by resolving issues and removing obstacles preventing payment of outstanding invoices. + Handle projects and assignments from the Director of Collections to drive efficiency in the collections process. Essential Skills + 4 years of commercial collection experience + 2 years of supervisory experience in collections + Strong negotiation skills + Knowledge of payroll + Prior collection or credit experience + B2B experience + Customer service skills + Collections customer service and collection calls Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in severely aged accounts receivable + Experience in the construction industry + Experience with liens and related laws + Experience with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers Work Environment Fully onsite, Monday to Friday from either 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $39.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
