Job Purpose:
Our Cold Chain Packaging Test Engineer I will be responsible for sensitive equipment and analyzing samples and conducting tests. The roles’ goal is to optimize lab procedures and succeed in producing reliable and important results that can be used to make a difference.Job Responsibilities:
● Conduct testing such as ISTA distribution and cold chain tests.● Manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.
● Document test data and test reports.
● Interpret and execute industry test standards from organizations such as ISTA,ASTM, and customer protocols.
● Safely operate test lab equipment.
● Maintain responsive communication with sales reps and customers regarding test status, updates, and results.
● Work collaboratively with internal departments.
● Perform other duties as assigned.

Understand and adhere to Good Documentation Practices Have a basic understanding of packaging principles and types of corrugated boxes. Conduct testing such as: ISTA distribution and cold chain tests. Responsible for simultaneously managing multiple testing projects. Responsible for documenting test data and test reports. Maintain responsive communication with sales reps and customers regarding test status, updates, and results. Work collaboratively with internal departments.Work Experience:
Minimum 1 year industry experience or packaging related degree. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered. ISTA Packaging Dynamics Professional certification preferred. Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.Proficient in Microsoft Suite. Self-starter and driven. Results oriented. Effective project management skills. Organizational Skills CAD software experience (ArtiosCAD, Solidworks) preferred.Salary Range is $65,000 - $70,000 per year.Work Experience:
● 1-3 years of related job experience.● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).Education:
