COE Controllership Tower Lead

Your role in the Team

 

As the COE Controllership Tower Lead in our Finance Shared Service Centre, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Controllership COE pillar. You will build and maintain strong relationships with the Core Finance teams globally, to which you will have a dotted reporting line.


You will lead and motivate a large team of senior finance professionals, ensuring delivery of services in line with agreed SLA’s while driving continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with the Core Finance teams. Additionally, you will act as the appointed Controller for the Manila local site.

 

What you will be doing:

• Financial Reporting

○ Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).

○ Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards such as GAAP, IFRS, or local regulations.

○ Coordinate with external auditors and support the audit process.

• Accounting Operations

○  Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.

○ Provide accounting guidance and support to other Shared Services teams (e.g., P2P, R2R).

○ Perform variance analysis and support performance tracking activities.

○ Collaborate with FP&A and other finance teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.

• Compliance and Regulatory Reporting

• Financial Controls and Risk Management

○ Oversee financial control processes to ensure accuracy and mitigate risks.

○ Monitor adherence to the Risk and Control Matrix (RACM) with regular attestations and governance reviews.

○ Identify, report, and remediate control gaps or issues proactively

• Continuous Improvement and Stakeholder Support


Who we are looking for:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Controllership, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity

• Relevant higher education qualifications in Finance or related fields

• CPA or equivalent professional certification required

• Experience in the BPO industry is advantageous

• Deep understanding of financial control processes and IFRS standards

• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP, as well as finance consolidation tools

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage senior leaders and stakeholders

• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities, with the ability to independently manage priorities and deadlines

• Proven ability to drive team performance through SLA, KPI, and performance management frameworks
