Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Co-op: Design Engineering.
The hourly rate for this position is $25.50 per hour.

What you’ll do:The co-op in the engineering group will work with experienced engineers to perform design engineering in support of production and development programs. In addition to design engineering, the Co-op will work in onsite engineering lab performing development testing with vibration tables, thermal chambers, and simulated aircraft lubrication systems. The Co-op will interface with electrical engineering group and analyze problems involving strength of materials, stress analysis, fluid flow, and heat transfer. Also, the Co-op will have the opportunity to interact with customers, engineers, manufacturing personnel, and suppliers in a dynamic team environment.
Essential functions:
Individual contributor able to learn and apply knowledge of principles and practices of mechanical systems. Capable to develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to support project team’s activities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Working towards a Mechanical, Aerospace or Materials Science Engineering degree and completed at least one year.Minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.8 or above. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee, or Refugee.All candidates must reside within the 50 mile recruiting radius of Glenolden, PA.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Design engineering, test engineering, drawing interpretation, and application of materials, finishes, machining processes, and machine design practices.Familiarity with LabVIEW, Catia, Pro-E, AutoCAD, and PC-based systems is desired.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
