This co-op will work in the chemistry lab and be trained and involved in the testing and analysis of body-worn drug delivery devices as it relates to biocompatibility and safety to the patient.
Responsibilities
Use GCMS and conduct off gas analysis on Pod components with headspace autosampler.
Use FTIR for investigation of foreign matter related to R&D, post market or manufacture.
Use UPLC-MS to study extractable and leachable profiles of Pod.
Coordinate sample submission to Contract labs.
Author Test Protocol/Test Report for biocompatibility as needed.
Help out/lighten other groups’ workload as needed.
Follow safety guidelines.
Maintain electronic and/or paper notebooks.
Author/Establish Tool Files for instruments/procedures in chemistry lab.
Required Skills and Competencies
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biology.
Highly ethical, responsible and data-driven decision-making methodology.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow direction.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
Ability to work with chemistry-based lab equipment and tools.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $26.00 - $34.25. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
