This includes managing monthly field closing activities for Distribution Centers (DCs) and supporting bad debt and legal status reviews. Day-to-day financial operations at assigned DCs are overseen while collaborating closely with sales teams to ensure operational excellence, including sales go-to-market strategies. Additionally, the role supports supply chain I2C activities and ensures control over 3PL, 2PL, hyper DCs, stockiest, and distributors. Regular market visits, AR aging reviews, and the evaluation of CCPFs requests help maintain healthy sales and effective financial performance, while dashboards and KPI reviews provide key insights to leadership for informed decision-making. Responsibilities Review and approve CCPFs to ensure compliance and accuracy. Ensure daily cash reconciliations are completed for collections received. Oversee and support the completion of all daily closing activities for the DC team. Ensure D&A approved budgets are accurately updated in the system. Review and approve D&A provisions and reporting to maintain financial integrity. Track and share activity sheets with stakeholders for proper accountability. Review and approve sales commissions and incentives for payment processing. Approve employee deductions in alignment with policies and regulations. Analyze monthly payments for customers, share overdue details with the sales team, and ensure follow-up actions. Review and approve monthly accruals, including BDP, D&A, stales reserve, and sales commissions. Verify sales cut-off procedures to ensure accurate AR recording. Review and approve bank reconciliations for main and collection accounts. Approve cash and petty cash reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. Provide feedback and support to the Commercial Controller on D&A and A&R statuses. Deliver timely reviews of AR, D&A, and revenue analysis to management. Review and approve customer credit notes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Conduct quarterly control testing, identify failures, and prepare remediation plans. Play a critical role in executing the BU Finance agenda and act as the focal point for sales, ensuring harmonization across geographies amidst the increased complexity of the BU structure. Review and approve T&E per SOA Review and Approve PR & Pos Review and approve the customer master data changes new and amendments Ensure compliance with PepsiCo Policies in assigned scope Lead the Finance team UAE and recognize contributions of the team members, keep the team motivated Work closely with Sales management and Supporting functions to ensure compliance to P&P and achieve the targets Advises management about insurance coverage for protection - Fidelity Guarantee Insurance and cash Coordinating with Sales function to ensure quality, timeliness and execution of sales spend is in line with policy and process Initiate, discuss and recommend improvements to the D&A process as required. Perform COSO Testing for assigned Controls Review and Approve employee payments Review and Approve Supplier payments Assess and evaluate and process control risks and recommend modifications to existing policies and procedures Coordinate with Commercial Controller for auditor requirements related to Assigned scope of Work Newly Added Responsibilities Weekly NR by channel & mix performance for the market Ad hoc / Innovations P&L’s for all commercial initiatives and key campaigns to assess financial feasibility of the initiative include all costs involved (Pre-campaign) Post campaign / initiatives ROI assessment across Financial and non-financial metrics Monitor stales by brand / initiative and by location and raise it with concerned business teams to assess reasons and initiate actions Work with functions to improve profitability by channel and by pack Monitor transactions performance by channel, by brand and by PP (monthly) Monitor Execution KPI’s in market and identify opportunities (Dist & reach by SKU, DRA, Zero sales customers, Credit utilization) OT promo performance assessment with proposals to balance DOP and Frequency TT Trade spend and activations review with ROI assessment Pack price initiatives and lead on NRM ideation and execution for the market Evaluate CDA’s and key accounts agreements prior to circulation for approvals Deep dive into P&L’s by channel, assess opportunities and partner with business teams to improve CTS (focusing on D&A opportunities by channel) Route profitability assessment and relevant channel costing (North star exercise) Deep dive into P&L’s by brands and PP to improve margins and provide the right benchmark data Racks inventory, utilization and ROI tracking S&D monthly tracking and deep dive by cost element to assess opportunities Lead the bottom-up S&D build up for Fcst / AOP exercise for the market Partner with the business and transformation team to identify and drive productivity opportunities Lead on Bottoms up Fcst / AOP exercise inputs from finance side for Vol, Revenue and D&A Track A&M budgets for the markets along with status of activities raised, committed and uncommitted portion Responsible for DAPLR accuracy across key dimensions for the business Qualifications Good stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross functional stakeholders and senior leaders in the organization are required. Excellent coordination skills among different functions and with finance planning team Strong Financial Modelling and analytical capabilities Work under pressure and demonstrate commitment to deliverables. Preferable MBA/CPA/CIMA/CA/ACCA / Equivalent 3-4 years of FMCG experience in related field
