**Job Description Summary**
Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. Working in the areas of tools, cloud, lab environments, and application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures, testing and implementation.

**Essential Responsibilities**
+ In this role, you will:
+ • Have awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/ Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
+ • Ability to write code in C# (HLP) that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the .NET technology.
+ • Ability to write code in VB and Python to develop test scripts and run them using the .NET technology.
+ • Ability to write code in C++ and C# that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the .NET technology.
+ • Ability to write test procedures and requirements in DOORS platform.
+ • Understand and apply the principles of OOP.
+ • Understand performance parameters and can assess application performance.
+ • Understand core data structures and algorithms and has the ability to implement them using .NET languages.
+ • Understand low level programming and embedded software (C, Fortran).
+ • Understand how compilers and linkers work.
+ • Understand and handle different Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, Windows).
**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.
+ Voices opinions and presents clear rationale. Uses data or factual evidence to influence.
+ • Learns organization vision statement and decision making framework. Able to understand how team and personal goals/objectives contribute to the organization vision.
+ • Completes assigned tasks on time and with high quality. Takes independent responsibility for assigned deliverables.

+ • Seeks to understand problems thoroughly before implementing solutions. Asks questions to clarify requirements when ambiguities are present.

+ • Adapts to new environments and changing requirements. Pivots quickly as needed. When coached, responds to need & seeks info from other sources
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile.
+ Prior experience with scripting languages (Shell, Bash, Perl).
+ Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).
+ General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.
