CNC Swiss Machinist - 3rd Shift Tonawanda, NY (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=131+Fillmore+Avenue+Tonawanda+NY+USA+14150) Job Type Full-time Description Summary of Job: We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machine Operator to join our growing 3rd shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Operate, Maintain and Setup, CNC machinery from blueprints with tooling. · Work with Manufacturing Engineer on program changes to the machine, when needed. · Perform Quality check on parts for accuracy according to blueprint specs. · Identify product defects and work with QC team. · Conduct minor maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. · Perform all work in accordance with established safe operating procedures. · Work with team members and shift supervisor on the assembly line. Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Swiss machining experience required. · Knowledge of FANUC controls. · Knowledge of 4th axis operation, a plus. · Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. · Knowledge of programming machinery for specific tasks. · Able to use measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, etc. · Strong attention to detail and quality control practices. · Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting is advantageous. Physical Job Requirements and Work Environment · Safety is our top priority!
