Our client is experiencing ongoing growth and business expansion into 2025, having recently secured a new seven-year government contract. Weekend Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm Friday-Sunday, work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours! **Position Information:** • Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes including configuring machine settings, installing tools, and preparing materials according to process documentation • Complete quality inspections of parts including 1st piece, in-process and last piece inspection using calipers, comparators, gauges and CMM equipment • Deburr or rework of work in process as needed • Troubleshoot and correct equipment or tooling issues as well as completing operator level machine maintenance **Required Experience:** • 2+ years of experience with CNC Mill set-up and operation • Strong understanding of x, y, z axis, ability read blueprints, and ability to complete basic mathematical functions • Previous experience operating Citizen Swiss lathe preferred • Experience with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment • High school diploma or GED equivalent Click on **Apply Now** for instant consideration for this **CNC Machinist** position in **Grand Rapids, MI** .
