This individual is responsible for supporting the development and/or maintenance of CNC programs and their function to produce components. The position validates programming by running samples, measuring, and submitting samples for third party verification. This position assesses machine function, tool application, program function, tracks performance, engages in root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions. This position reviews and releases special orders for programming and assists with programming for product launches/changes. This position is responsible for implementation of tooling, fixtures, samples, and operator training. This position will actively participate in improvement teams and generate new ideas to be pursued for both process and product improvements.
Highlights of your role Use software expertise to interact with machinery, including programming and troubleshooting, e.g., InventorCAM, Maestro, Genesis, CamPlus, and XilogUtilize measurement tools to verify equipment performance and assess findingsReview, understand, and interpret design print requirementsDaily interaction with all levels of production and maintenance teamsProvide CNC equipment support for production demands during scheduled work hours, currently Monday – Thursday, 6:30am to 5:30pm, and be available as needed for equipment maintenanceAssist in verification and creation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and training guides and materialsConduct on-the-job and classroom style training for all levels as neededWill communicate orally and in writing in both English and SpanishApply problem solving with high attention to details and accuracy to all aspects of the roleUpon agreement of goals and objectives, works with little to no supervisionManage multiple projects and business needs through time management skillsUtilizes aluminum extrusion, fiberglass, and wood machining knowledgeSeeks out ways to optimize materials / reduce scrapDaily use of MS Office 365 products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and SharePoint You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Associate degree in relevant fieldSubject Matter Expert, experienced with programming / CNC / Cad Cam ProgrammingKnowledge of CNC equipment functions with skills in troubleshooting and repair solutionsDemonstrated competence with Office 365, Inventor, and AutoCADDemonstrated competency in metrology concepts and applicationMaintenance experience and high mechanical aptitude a plusProficient communication skills in English and SpanishProven abilities to train and assist in creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guides/training materials We invite you to See Yourself at MarvinFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
