Job Title: CNC Programmer/Machinist
Location: Cranbury, NJ
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $75,000 – $100,000 annually
  CNC PROGRAMMER/MACHINIST
SUMMARY

CNC Programmer/Machinist to support prototype production through advanced CNC programming and machining operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both CNC and manual machining, with exposure to high-precision, engineering-driven environments.

WORK SCHEDULE
Week 1: Monday–Friday (Mon–Thurs: 9 hours/day, Fri: 8 hours)
Week 2: Monday–Thursday (9 hours/day), with every other Friday off
Flexible start time (doors open at 6:30 AM; preferred start around 8:00 AM)
Occasional extra hours may be required

RESPONSIBILITIES Develop manufacturing processes and documentation, including tooling selection, work-holding, fixturing, CAM programming, finishing processes, and work instructions Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, Swiss machines, and EDM equipment Apply GD&T principles and qualify parts using SMTE (QC support available as needed) Maintain schedules throughout the manufacturing phase Research and implement the latest in manufacturing technology and processes Participate in product development/design reviews and collaborate on production planning QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 5+ years of hands-on machine shop experience Proven background as a Manufacturing Engineer, Machinist, or Toolmaker (portfolio of projects preferred) CNC programming and execution experience (required) Proficient with Mastercam and SolidWorks Hands-on experience with 5-axis machining, live tool lathes, and Swiss lathe machining Familiar with controls such as FANUC, HAAS, MITSUBISHI, SIEMENS, and CELOS Working knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and ISO 9001/13485 standards Strong problem-solving ability Macro/Post Processor experience is a plus
