Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Create CAD/CAM models and CNC programs using supplied part prints and specifications.Generate and edit G-code/M-code for various CNC machine controls.Develop and document complete manufacturing processes, from fixturing to final part production.Create detailed work instructions and maintain updated job standards.Analyze manufactured parts for cost, performance, and process improvements.Create and maintain tooling and fixturing lists for all CNC programs.Assist in quoting manufactured parts and determining the method of production.Monitor and control changes to CNC programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Support the transfer and handling of CNC programs between servers and machines.Utilize Microsoft Office and ERP software (e.g., Epicor) to maintain part and job documentation.Comply with company quality policies, standards, and manufacturing procedures.Collaborate with production teams and provide engineering support as needed.Review and close jobs based on the production shipping schedule.Support budgeting and purchasing decisions for new tooling.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager.
Work Experience
Qualifications:High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CNC programming/manufacturing role.At least 6 years of experience operating CNC Lathes and/or Mills.2 years of experience using CAD/CAM software preferred.Solid knowledge of work holding/fixturing techniques and machine tooling.Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Excellent mechanical aptitude and print reading skills.Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.Effective written and verbal communication skills.

This position supports both the engineering and production teams by determining manufacturing processes, creating and maintaining tool lists, generating CNC code, and providing technical support.
