What You'll Do as a CNC Programmer:

Program and optimize CNC operations for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling and turning machines using Siemens NX and/or PTC Pro/ENGINEER (Creo)Create efficient toolpaths that reduce setup time and maximize precisionInterpret 3D CAD models, drawings, and GD&T specificationsCollaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure manufacturabilityDesign custom workholding and fixturing concepts when neededValidate programs with simulations and dry runs before productionTroubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining strategy issuesSuggest improvements to tooling, feeds/speeds, and cycle timesMaintain accurate documentation for setups, tooling, and revisionsSupport continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices

Work Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:

5+ years CNC programming in a manufacturing settingProficiency in Siemens NX and/or PTC Pro/ENGINEER (Creo) CAD/CAM softwareStrong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC controls (Fanuc, Okuma, Haas)Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, and exotic alloysAbility to read technical drawings, blueprints, and apply GD&T principlesMulti-axis machining experience and familiarity with complex geometries

You'll Stand Out With:

Experience with DNC systems and tool life management to boost programming efficiency and machine performance.Experience in high-stakes manufacturing for aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing Experience with Okuma machines, DNC systems, and tool life management software
