CNC Operator Waterford, NY (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=428+Hudson+River+RD+Waterford+NY+USA+12188) • Manufacturing Job Type Full-time Description 3 Axis CNC Router Operator Job Description: Centrotherm Eco Systems is looking for a dynamic individual to fill a CNC Router Operator position This position is on our first shift 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday – Friday. Job duties: + Safely and efficiently operate CNC Router including loading programs, mounting trim fixtures, mounting parts and running programs + Comprehensive knowledge of materials and tolerances. + Impart quality into every part through attention to detail and execution of in process control plan + Ability to move work pieces onto and off of work tables + Able to work with limited guidance when necessary + Works well with a team and follows direction + Proactively seeks continuous improvement and professional development + Meaningfully contribute to team meetings, training, policies, strategy and culture + Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment following the principles of 5S + Complete daily/weekly preventative maintenance of assigned equipment + Ensure efficient use of time and equipment, ensuring that the appropriate records are maintained and that tight inventory control and security is maintained + Perform other duties, projects, and assignments as needed Requirements + Commitment to work place safety + A high school degree is required. + 2-5 years of one of the following skills is strongly preferred: + Operation of 5 Axis Router or Machining Center + Operation of extrusion equipment + Operation of blow molding, thermal forming, injection molding or extrusion equipment + Candidates with operator experience outside of plastics will be considered + Training will be provided + Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word is required + Customer Focus - achieving Company, department, and personal goals through a strong customer focus. + Must have attention to detail for continuous mental and visual attention + Must be a good communicator and self-motivated. Must be able to follow verbal and written communications/directions + Forklift license a plus Physical Requirements: + Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear + Frequently lift move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift + Occasionally move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. + Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, keyboarding, walking + Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance + Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. + Require to wear Safety Glasses & Steel or composite toe Shoes Salary Description $20.00 to $25.00 / hr
