Job Description

We are seeking an experienced day shift setup mill-turn machinist for our machine shop located in Garden Grove, CA. This role offers a competitive hourly rate, with potential for higher pay for candidates possessing programming experience.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mill-turn machines with live tooling, Y-axis, and sub-spindle operations.Familiarize and work with NL/NZX or NT/NM series machines.Program at the control using Fanuc/MAPPS or read and adjust G-code.Apply experience from aerospace, medical, or defense industries.Be willing to work second shift or weekends as needed.Train others or lead setups when required.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in setup and operation of CNC mill-turn machines.Mechanical aptitude and strong mathematical skills, including trigonometry.Excellent attention to detail and ability to read blueprints.Proficient use of standard measuring equipment.Ability to operate CNC machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsSome college or technical school work is preferred.Experience with blueprints, programming, CATIA, Mastercam, and ESPRIT.Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
