**Job Title: 2nd Shift Mill Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Mill Machinist to join our team on the 2nd shift. The role involves milling details from plate or flat stock according to blueprints to precise dimensions, working with various shapes and materials.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Utilize measuring tools effectively.
+ Sharpen cutting tools as needed.
+ Perform own set-ups for machining tasks.
+ Download and alter programs if necessary.
+ Machine materials to specified prints.
+ Operate overhead crane for material handling.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years experience operating a 3-axis mill.
+ Proficiency in reading digital micrometers and calipers.
+ Experience in editing Haas/Fanuc controls for programming.
+ Familiarity with G&M code editing.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in CNC programming is a plus.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
