Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to operate 5-axis CNC Mills in a high-precision aerospace environment. This role involves working on complex aero-structures and space components, contributing to cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies.

Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications with a strong understanding of GD&T.Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.Apply mathematical concepts such as geometry and trigonometry in machining operations.Set up machines with pallets, vises, tombstones, and fixtures.Operate 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical and horizontal CNC Mills.Required QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist.Hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing, particularly with aluminum and defense components.Proficiency in operating 5-axis CNC Mills, specifically Makino MAG3 machines.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in an aerospace machine shop.Familiarity with Makino MAG3 equipment.Strong work history with consistent attendance.Work Environment

This position is based in a state-of-the-art aerospace machine shop, a leading supplier of precision machined parts and assemblies. The facility supports advanced 5-axis machining, complex assemblies, and kitting operations. The environment is fast-paced and technologically advanced, with multiple shift options available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
