What You'll Do as a CNC / Manual Machinist:

Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual milling machines (horizontal and vertical)Operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipmentStudy blueprints and specifications to ensure precise fabricationPerform layout and prepare shop drawingsMonitor machine performance and adjust as needed for qualityUse gauges, calipers, and micrometers to verify product accuracyFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area

Work Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:

High school diploma or GED2+ years CNC and manual machining experience (preferred)Ability to read blueprints and technical manualsBasic computer skillsStrong focus on detail and safetyKnowledge of metal propertiesAssociate degree or relevant certification (preferred)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, kneel, or bend for long periodsWork in loud environments and around industrial chemicalsVisual acuity of 20/40 corrected or better
