Job Description
Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This role supports the company’s operations by ensuring all machinery and systems run efficiently and safely. Work is performed with minimal supervision and includes both preventive and emergency maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.Perform emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during service periods.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and work orders.Perform basic machinist duties and utilize hand and power tools.Conduct plumbing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance tasks.Diagnose issues, replace or repair defective components, and verify proper machine operation.Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work documentation.Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Detect and report faulty operations or unusual equipment conditions to supervisors.Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Experience
Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred.Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.Minimum of 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient in the use of tools, meters, and equipment used in industrial maintenance.Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Work Environment & Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working in various plant conditions.Ability to work with exposure to manufacturing noise and moving equipment.
