**2nd Shift CNC Machinist**
_Metro Detroit Area | Permanent Position | M-F 3:30 pm - 12 am_
The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is partnering with a leading Aerospace manufacturing client in the Metro Detroit area to find a skilled **2nd Shift CNC Machinist** .
**About the Role:**
Our client is a global aerospace group providing advanced engineering solutions to top-tier Aerospace and Defense companies. With locations worldwide, they specialize in complex machining and fabrication of aero-engine components, supporting both military and commercial sectors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Operate lathe machines and run multiple machines simultaneously where feasible
+ Work with hard metals including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel
+ Read and interpret customer blueprints, specifications, and operation sheets
+ Use Fanuc controls to make offsets and adjustments
+ Load parts and fixtures onto machines and hoists
+ Read and interpret CNC programs and tool sheets
+ Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
+ Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles
+ Maintain tight tolerances within thousandths
+ Support fast-paced manufacturing environment and perform additional duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years operating CNC machinery in manufacturing, preferably aerospace
+ Experience with major aerospace OEMs a strong plus
+ Proficient in mathematics and able to use a calculator
+ Ability to stand for extended periods and access machines on platforms
+ Strong team player with effective communication skills
+ Willingness to work overtime as needed
+ Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA
**Shift:** Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
