Weekend shift starts at $30+/hr, with potential for higher rates based on skill match
Shift Options
2nd Shift (Option 1): Monday – Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
2nd Shift (Option 2): Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (5-day workweek option)
Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
3 x 12-hour shifts, paid for 40 hours/week
Weekend shift requires BTL proficiency
Job Description
We are seeking a 5-Axis Mill and Lathe Machinist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in either mill or lathe operations to join our high-performance team in Phoenix. This role requires strong setup capabilities, basic G-code knowledge, and the ability to read and interpret CNC programming. Aviation CNC experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain 5-axis milling and lathe machines (HAAS preferred)
Perform full machine setups and tool changes
Read and interpret engineering blueprints and CNC programs
Use precision measurement tools including calipers and micrometers
Maintain critical dimensions and ensure parts meet exact specifications
Collaborate with engineering and production teams on prototype development
Utilize BTL (Basic Tool List) system for weekend shift operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience on either mill or lathe CNC machines
Proficiency in machine setup and basic G-code understanding
Ability to read and interpret CNC programming
Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
Experience with HAAS machines (VF, UMC, ST series) strongly preferred
Aviation CNC experience is a plus, but not mandatory
Familiarity with BTL system for tooling and setup

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $76960.00/yr.
