What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist:

Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machinesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work ordersMonitor machine operations, make adjustments, and ensure part accuracyInspect finished parts with precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Perform routine maintenance and assist with troubleshootingMaintain a clean and safe workspace following 5S and safety standardsCollaborate with engineers and team members to meet production goalsFollow AS9100 quality system processes and support continuous improvement

Work Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:

High school diploma/GED (technical training a plus)7+ years CNC machining experience (prototype environment preferred)Experience with Okuma OSP controls strongly preferredProficiency in reading technical drawings & using measurement toolsFamiliarity with G-code & CNC programmingDetail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality workAble to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

You'll Stand Out With:

Multi-axis or live-tooling CNC mastery that takes precision to the next levelExperience in high-stakes manufacturing for aerospace or defenseIn-depth understanding of AS9100 quality systemsProven ability to create inspection documentation such as first article reports and process travelers
