**Job Title: Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Machinist who will be responsible for setting up and operating machines to produce parts according to specifications, while maintaining high quality standards and following safety procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Complete machine set-up sheets and set up machines for production.
+ Handle quality control details during shifts and acquire parts to be machined using forklift or pallet.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions to determine production requirements.
+ Machine parts to required specifications and inspect machined pieces to verify conformance, making adjustments based on quality data.
+ Move parts to designated areas and replace worn tooling as needed.
+ Remove and return tooling upon job completion and suggest machining methods to improve efficiency.
+ Work within OSHA and ISO standards, and follow established safety procedures.
+ Perform daily preventative maintenance and machine cleaning duties.
+ Conduct daily housekeeping duties for the building.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in CNC operations.
+ Experience as a lead or trainer in a machining environment.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
