Job Description
The CNC Lathe Machinist will be responsible for setting up their own machines and inspecting their own parts upon completion. The role involves working with CNC Lathe machines to produce small parts efficiently and accurately. The candidate should possess effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude, fostering teamwork with colleagues.
ResponsibilitiesSelect tooling, setup, and operate CNC Lathes.Perform inspections using equipment such as micrometers and calipers.Manage one setup per day, handling repeat jobs and approximately 3-4 new jobs each month.Collaborate with team members and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years' experience setting up CNC Lathes, specifically with twin turret experience.Ability to inspect parts produced from the machines.Familiarity with CNC Lathe operations, including blueprint reading and multi-axis turning centers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Daewoo/Puma and Miyano machines is a plus.Knowledge of Fanuc systems and turning centers.Understanding of milling machines.Why Work Here
