Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (First Shift)
Pay Rate: $26.17 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Machine Operator – CNC Mill Department to support aerospace production in Medley, FL. In this role, you’ll contribute directly to the creation of high-precision aerospace components by operating advanced CNC machinery. Your expertise in machining, measurement, and print interpretation will help ensure products meet the highest quality and safety standards.
What You’ll DoSet up, operate, and maintain 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
Apply knowledge of CNC programming, including G-code and conversational programming.
Utilize multi-axis machining techniques for complex parts and advanced tool setups.
Conduct quality checks using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor and maintain machining quality.
Interpret engineering blueprints, tolerances, and GD&T principles to ensure accuracy.
Work with CAD/CAM software to assist in toolpath creation and simulation.
Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
What You’ll BringRequired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with CNC milling machines (3-axis and 5-axis).
Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code and conversational).
Strong skills in reading blueprints and applying GD&T standards.
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
Ability to perform part inspections and maintain accurate documentation.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with multi-axis machining for complex aerospace components.
Familiarity with SPC methods and quality assurance principles.
