Job Description

Onin Staffing is currently hiring a CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery to produce high quality wooden components for custom crates, pallets and other industrial packaging solutions. You'll ensure products meet specifications, optimize production runs, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Position is located in Manor, TX. This role is for the shift below with a pay rate of $23 + DOE.

D Shift Schedule:

Wednesdays: 12am - 6am

Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 6pm - 6am

What you'll do as: CNC Operator

Set up and operate CNC wood-cutting machines for the production of crates, pallets, and specialty packaging.Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine dimensions and machining requirements.Load raw materials (primarily wood or engineered wood) onto machines and secure properly.Perform machine calibration, adjustments, and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance.Monitor machining processes and inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality standards.Use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, gauges) to confirm tolerances and dimensions.Communicate with supervisors and team leads regarding production issues or material needs.Maintain accurate records of work orders, run times, and quality checks.Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized shop floor.

Work Experience

Qualified candidates meet most or all of the following:

3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment2-3 years operating CNC machines - a must1+ year of CNC programming and set-up - a mustExperience with 5-axis - a mustBilingual (English/Spanish) - a plus but not requiredMust pass a pre-employment background checkThis employer participates in E-Verify, a federal program that electronically confirms the employment eligibility of all new hires
