Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY: The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. The operator will ensure that the machines run smoothly and adhere to safety guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Performs routine operation of assigned machine(s), including start-up and shutdown.Loads raw material into bar feeder and adjusts to machine.Monitors machine performance, while monitoring product quality through regular inspection intervals.Read blueprints and perform consistent visual inspection underneath the microscope and perform continuous inspection on their machines on various inspection equipment.Performs general housekeeping in work areas (cleaning work surfaces, mopping, etc.).Will assist 1st and 2nd shift during the shift change with line clearance of jobs and paper set-up.Job Requirements:

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma/GED and college level machining classes and/or formal CNC training preferred. Requires 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as operating procedures, general instructions, technical brochures, safety rules, employee handbook, company policies, departmental procedures, etc.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Familiarity with raw materials, cutting tool geometry, and related feeds and speeds. Must have knowledge of precision inspection equipment and methods (micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, etc.).
