Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced CNC Setup Operator to work at their Bourbon location. Pay is $18-$23 per hour, based on experience.

Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 to $23.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)Load part programs into the machine memory and make necessary editsRead blueprints, tooling instructions and standard charts to determine product specifications, work holding arrangement, cutting speeds, feed rates, and cutting tools to be usedMove controls, cams and stops to set rotations speeds and feed ratesChange or install chucks or chuck jaws, collet systemsChange tools and tool holders including boring bars, stick tools, drills, taps, reamers, millsDirect the machine to the proper tool position after installing new toolsAcquire gauging, sets up and masters gauging including the optical comparatorMaintain and understands SPC charting techniquesVerify conformance of turned parts to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers and fixed gaugesSafely operate electric pallet jack and/or forkliftMaintain machine in reference to cleaning, lubricants, coolant, etc.Operate stamping pressCNC Qualifications:
Previous CNC Setup experience REQUIREDMust have experience with CMM MachinesCNC Lathe experience preferredSteel Toed Shoes REQUIREDHigh school or equivalent preferredAbility to work in warmer temperatures at times, work necessary overtime, stand for shift, and lift 50 poundsApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
