EMMC is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) apprenticeship program! This excellent program is hosted at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. This 40 hour per week PAID position at $17.75 per hour consists of 16-32 hours of class and clinical experience, with the remaining hours spent as a Patient Experience Aide on one of our many units. If you are accepted in the program, you will be a full-time employee while earning your CNA license. Internal candidates will be transferred to our Supplemental Staffing department to work in a clinical role as a Patient Experience Aide. There are many benefits to this program.
